About Wynn Construction
Wynn Construction Services is a first-class general contractor, building custom homes, commercial buildings and remodeled projects in the Monterey Bay area since 1997. Wynn was founded on the principals that time, budget and quality were not attributes that customers should have to compromise. “On time,” “on budget”, and “done right” are the cornerstones of Wynn Construction, and the firm takes a great deal of pride in living up to these benchmarks on each and every job.
Horror stories abound about general contractors who took forever to finish a project because they were “good craftsmen” but “terrible managers”. At Wynn Construction Services, we pride ourselves on putting together a team of the best local craftsmen and provide the necessary management to insure that your job will be done the way you want it – on time, within your budget, and with quality throughout.
Wynn Construction Services is dialed into exceeding customer expectations all over the central coast of California, serving communities such as Monterey, Hollister, Gilroy, Watsonville, Santa Cruz, Salinas, Saratoga, Los Gatos, Campbell, San Jose and Morgan Hill. Wynn has built a sterling reputation for excellence in project management. Whether you are building a custom home in Aptos, or a commercial building in Silicon Valley, Wynn Construction Services is the best bet to manage your construction project.
Wynn is fully insured with both general liability and workers compensation. Our track record of quality building and project management makes Wynn the preferred choice in general contractors in the Monterey Bay area.
About Gordon Wynn
Born in San Mateo, Gordon Wynn has lived in Hollister since he was fifteen years old. The son of a construction project manager, attention to detail has always been an essential part of his life. While in High School, Gordon was not only a model student, but a stand out member of both the wrestling and varsity football teams. After graduating from San Benito High School, Gordon moved on to attend college at both Gavilan College in Gilroy, and Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
Upon his return to San Benito County in the early 1980’s, Gordon would marry his love, Kristen, and begin his family. Beginning with his own home at 21, Gordon built his life with Kristen and continues to create a loving home for his wife, son, and daughter. The sense of community and clean living in and around the Monterey Bay was appealing to the Wynns, and setting their roots in Hollister was an easy decision. The location was also conducive to their life-style. As a family, Gordon, Kristen, along with their son and daughter enjoy outdoor activities such as snowboarding, wakeboarding, dirt bike riding, boating, and beach getaways. They found Hollister, the Central Coast, and the close proximity to the Sierra Nevada mountains perfect for their way of life.
Gordon obtained his California contractor’s license in 1986, and put it to good use as he began to manage construction projects for a number of larger contractors in the Monterey Bay area. This is where he would gain great insight into meeting customer’s needs, and minimizing the unnecessary bureaucracies that can handicap projects. He would also gain invaluable experience and expertise over the next eleven years, before finally hanging a shingle himself in 1997, and launching Wynn Construction Services.
Now in business for well over fourteen years, Wynn Construction Services has become the standard for excellence in Monterey, San Benito, Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties. Gordon takes a great deal of pride in completing jobs on budget, ahead of schedule, and exceeding the expectations of his clients. The hard work and care that Gordon shows his clients was publicly recognized when Wynn Construction Services was voted ‘Best Contractor in San Benito County’ for 2010. Gordon continues to be a leading contractor in San Benito County and the surrounding Central Coast communities. The time, patience and attention to detail that have served him well in life, serves his clients with no less satisfaction.
